New Art Exhibit Features Santa Barbara Landscapes, Island Views

If this image looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen this view of the Channel Islands before. Deborah Ferguson’s painting is part of the new Spring into Summer exhibit at the Larry Iwerks Gallery (958 Weldon Rd.), a visual fest of artists’ interpretations of S.B.-area landscape views, including portraits of Carpinteria, the Santa Ynez Mountains, and more. Don’t miss the opening reception this Friday, May 8, from 5-8 p.m. Call 965-5486 for more info.
