SBCC Open for Classes May 7 and 8

May 07, 2009

Barring any unforeseen circumstances caused by the Jesusita Fire, Santa Barbara City College's Main Campus (721 Cliff Drive) and Wake Center (300 N. Turnpike Road) will be open this evening, Thursday, May 7 and tomorrow, Friday, May 8, for classes.
If a fire-related situation arises overnight to change that decision, a campus wide-e-mail will be sent by 6:30 a.m. on Friday morning.A notice also will be posted immediately on the SBCC Web site home page (www.sbcc.edu) and through the Alert U text messaging system. Otherwise, Friday classes will meet.

At this time, it is expected that SBCC's Continuing Education Division's Schott Center (310 W. Padre St.) will continue to be closed on Friday May 8 due to poor air quality and will re-open on Monday, May 11.
