Marital woes: Hundreds of marriage equality supporters gathered Tuesday evening to speak out against the California Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Proposition 8, which amended the California Constitution to define marriage as the union between a man and a woman. Moderated by David Selberg of the Pacific Pride Foundation, the event featured speakers from LGBT advocacy groups, area churches, elected officials, and community members. Speakers and presenters maintained hopeful perseverance and vowed to continue fighting for same-sex marriage equality.
