Foodbank Holiday Food Drive

Tis the season of giving, and once again the Foodbank could use your help. Each year at this time, Foodbank has a food drive to help feed the hungry in our community. On their wish list: lots of turkeys and nonperishable food donations. If you’d like to do more than just drop off food, you can run a food drive at your school, church, or business, for example. Foodbank will provide everything you need, including boxes, barrels, a poster listing needed items, and a food drive information kit. Monetary donations are also welcome. The Holiday Food Drive runs through December 31. Foodbank of Santa Barbara is located at 4554 Hollister Avenue. Call 967-5741 x112 or visit foodbanksbc.org.
