Any cookbook that kicks off with a caramelized fig and goat cheese tart and finishes with a flourless chocolate cake with banana ice cream is going to have to be good, but this isn’t just any cookbook. This is Autumn, the third in Pascale Beale-Groom’s A Menu for All Seasons series, and it’s available now at area bookstores and from Groom’s Web site,

For more than a decade, she has run Mediterranean cooking school Montecito Country Kitchen, and all those years of full-menu classes have helped form the backbone of these delicious cookbooks that teach us how to cook seasonally and from our Farmers Market.
