Goleta Public Library to Host 9/11 Commemorative Event

This week, the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York City will be remembered through a commemorative event at the Goleta Public Library (500 N. Fairview Ave.), where a town hall meeting discussion and a film screening will shed further light on the infamous date. It’s a perfect way for South Coasters to pay their respects on this historic day. It takes place on Friday, September 11, at 7:30 p.m. No admission will be charged for entry; donations are appreciated. Ages 12+. Call 965-3739 for more info.
