Yahoo!In addition to its world-famous hotel, the Four Seasons Biltmore has lush gardens and red brick walkways peppering its 22 acres in Montecito. And you don’t have to be a guest to enjoy the “more than 2,000 horticultural treasures—many of which have been flown in from exotic locales around the world.” Led by the Biltmore’s Landscape Manager Ezequiel Gil, visitors can see Santa Barbara’s second largest tree, a Moreton Bay Fig dating back to the 1800s, colorful, fragrant blossoms, and 75 different species of palm trees, including the largest planting of Kentias in the U.S. Garden tours take place Tuesdays at 11 a.m. They're free and open to the public. Reservations are required; call 565-8291.
