Dancing Days

In celebration of National Dance Week, the S.B. Dance Alliance will host more than 20 dance groups in downtown Santa Barbara for Dance Day 2010 on Saturday, April 24. Social and professional dance acts are scheduled for throughout the area, including country western in front of Borders (900 State St.), jazz and hip-hop in Paseo Nuevo Mall (De la Guerra and State sts.), contemporary moves on the front steps of the S.B. Art Museum (1130 State St.), and much more. The fun starts at 2 p.m.; all acts are free to watch. Call 966-6950 for more info.
