As of August 1, Santa Barbara Dance Arts directors Steven Lovelace and Alana Tillim will be taking over Carpinteria’s 14 K Jules. The California Coastal Commission’s Amateur Photo Competition is now accepting submissions for its 12th annual contest. Entrants are encouraged to submit photos in any of the four categories by August 31: the scenic coast, the way people use the coast, coastal wildlife, or humor.
