The Fund for Santa Barbara’s 2010 Grant-Making Cycle is currently accepting applications online at fundforsantabarbara.org. BUST A MOVE
As of August 1, Santa Barbara Dance Arts directors Steven Lovelace and Alana Tillim will be taking over Carpinteria’s 14 K Jules. The Carp studio, which will change its name to Dance Arts Carpinteria on the first, will offer the same classes and faculty, as well as a new option for financial aid for students. The California Coastal Commission’s Amateur Photo Competition is now accepting submissions for its 12th annual contest. Entrants are encouraged to submit photos in any of the four categories by August 31: the scenic coast, the way people use the coast, coastal wildlife, or humor.
