West Beach Fest Is Happening

After too many rounds to count of haranguing between West Beach Music Festival organizers and the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, the two-day bash seems slated to proceed as planned. Organizers Jeremy and Joshua Pemberton said they submitted more than $90,000 in security deposits and facility use fees this week, and claimed the concert will in fact happen on East Beach on 9/24 and 9/25, much to the dismay of many who feel last year’s managerial failings and planning snafus are bound to repeat themselves.
