Film Highlights Permaculture Practices in East Africa

From the Mara Soil is a film from the Permaculture Around the World Series, debuting in S.B. next Thursday, December 9, at the Faulkner Gallery (40 E. Anapamu St.). The series, sponsored by the S.B. Permaculture Network, highlights the unique approaches of faraway and often marginalized communities to solving humanity’s greatest challenges in the natural world. This week’s screening focuses on a community in Tanzania, East Africa. The film runs from 7-9 p.m.; tickets cost $5. Call 962-2571 for more info.
