Supes to Tackle Redistricting

The Board of Supervisors received on 12/14 an initial overview on the redistricting process they will be undertaking during the next year. While a state commission will determine the district lines for the State Assembly and Senate, as well as the U.S. House of Representatives, it will be up to the board to determine the supervisorial districts. As in redistrictings past, the 3rd District—not only because it’s in the middle of the county, but also because it spans from North County to the South—will be the hot topic.
