Centeno’s Last Board Meeting

After eight years as 5th District supervisor, and many more in public service as the police chief of Santa Maria, Joe Centeno sat through his last board meeting on 12/14. Centeno, a conservative who stood out on social issues and chose not to run for reelection this year, will be replaced by Steve Lavagnino, son of Santa Maria Mayor Larry Lavagnino.
