Poodle Radio on Talking to the Dead and Taking 2010’s Photographs

December 28, 2010

First on this week’s Poodle Radio, it’s a conversation with Judy Campbell-Clark, pastor of the Spiritualist Church of the Comforter. She and the Church are the subjects of Matt Kettman’s recent article on the organization’s 120th anniversary. It started in Summerland back at the beginning of the 1890s, and not operates quietly on Garden Street in Downtown Santa Barbara.

Then, Indy staff photographer Paul Wellman drops by to talk about his work, his gear, his photographic technique, and what went into 2010’s Year in Pictures issue. You can tune into Poodle Radio live every Tuesday morning from 8-9 a.m. on KCSB, 91.9 FM in Santa Barbara or on KCSB’s webcast at KCSB.org.
