As of Wednesday morning, a Santa Barbara jury is still deliberating the fates of four young men accused of murdering 16-year-old Lorenzo Carachure, who died from stab wounds in July 2007. Ruben Mize, Bryan Medinilla, Ricardo Nava, and Raul Diaz, despite all being juveniles at the time of the attack, have been charged as adults and face significant time behind bars if convicted. In addition to the murder charges, the quartet face two attempted murder charges. Check independent.com for reactions once the verdict comes in.
