Edison Conducts Underground Maintenance

Southern California Edison, or SCE, has planned power outages in Santa Barbara and Goleta, starting on July 6 and ending July 9.

On Tuesday, July 6, starting at 8 p.m., the outage will affect Valerio, De la Vina, Bath, Micheltorena, and Arrellaga streets and Los Aguajes Avenue until 6:30 a.m. the next day.

On Wednesday, July 7, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Phelps Road, Cool Brook, Orange Blossom and Meadow lanes, Shadowbrook Drive and Greenleaf Court will be affected.

At 5 p.m. Thursday, July 8, until 6:30 a.m., July 9, outages will occur at Dearborn Place, Kellogg, Armitos, Hollister, Kinman and Cardinal avenues. The final outage will affect about 700 people.

Patricia Bartoli-Wible, local public affairs region manager for SCE, said that individual homeowners have been notified. Underground maintenance is the reason for the outages.

Residents can contact SCE customer service at (800) 655-4555.
