Coveted Cupcakes

Cupcake lovers unite! Cupcakes for Cancer, a nonprofit created by 13-year-old Blakely Colvin, will be hosting Cupcakes Camp 2010 at Fess Parker’s DoubleTree Resort (633 E. Cabrillo Blvd.), where the now world-renowned event will be celebrating cupcake creations of all kinds. The delectable delights of Cupcakes Camp will benefit Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation of S.B., and the event is propelled entirely by the help of volunteers and donated baked goods by dozens of area bakeries. Be sure to stop by the camp on Sunday, July 25, at 1 p.m., where a wide array of assorted goodies—and a frosting bar!—await the cupcake lover. Call 448-7336 for more info.
