This is absolutely insane. Sunday is the busiest southbound travel day of the week. Two weeks ago, Caltrans decided it would be a good idea to trim the bushes northbound at Sheffield on a Saturday. They reopened the one lane at 10:30 a.m. but the damage was already done. Traffic was backed up for miles for the rest of the day. I cant even imagine the back up that this will cause. Not to mention the accidents that will inevitbly result. Many people are about to have their day ruined.

Good job Caltrans. I just looked at your traffic camera's to see the carnage you have caused. Southbound is backed up to La Cumbre. Probably take an hour or more to get to Milpas St.. Whoever decided the timing of this should be FIRED and brought up on charges of disturbing the peace. Gonna be even more fun next week it being father's day. MORON'S
