PUT YOUR DUKES UP: You might not think it from looking at her, but Indy intern Celeste Phillips has a mean right hook that — as a graduate of UCSB’s Professional Editing program — she’ll nail you with if your grammar and punctuation aren’t on-point. Phillips just graduated, double majoring in English and French, and spent the last six months in our office writing and editing and keeping everyone’s copy squeaky clean. The 22-year-old is planning on heading back to her hometown of San Diego while she mulls over her next move, but she knows she wants to write. However, she says, she’ll miss her training sessions at Isla Vista’s Duke’s Boxing & Fitness.
