OffLeash Party

Pet Boutique Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

It was a sunny day in May 2009, when the Glantzes saw a For Lease sign over a pet boutique on State Street. They made a snap decision to try their hand at pet retail and within a month Audrey and Randy opened OffLeash’s doors. Always on the lookout for unique products, the shop is full of “items dedicated to the pampered pooch and finicky feline,” said Audrey. In celebration of its one-year anniversary, OffLeash is having a party. Folks are encouraged to bring their four-leggeds by the shop for free gifts and treats. Special prizes will be given to costumed dogs and cats. Purchase a $1 raffle ticket, and you could be the winner of a designer dog bed. All proceeds benefit DAWG (Dog Adoption & Welfare Group). Saturday, June 26, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., OffLeash, 1103 State St. For information, call 957-4500 or visit
