Santa Barbara Plays Host to Unique Dance Workshops This Week

Get your summertime swing on with a variety of S.B.-based dance workshops, each one catering to the discriminating dancer. Whether it’s ballroom under the sky at Alameda Park or a Solstice-themed class in the newly renovated Carrillo Ballroom, dancers of all abilities will surely find one to suit their soles. The following is a round-up of some fun dance events open to all Santa Barbarans this week:

—Swinging Summer Solstice Swing Workshop: Friday, June 25, 8 p.m. Carrillo Ballroom, 100 E. Carrillo St. Call 698-0832.

—Salsa Dance Workshop, Saturday, June 26, 1 p.m. S.B. Athletic Club, 520 Castillo St. Call 966-6147.
