Ty Warner Sea Center to Host World Oceans Day Festival This Weekend

Standing out among this weekend’s not-to-be-missed area activities is the Ty Warner Sea Center’s (211 Stearns Wharf) World Oceans Day Festival. Entertaining and educational endeavors are planned for attendees of all ages, like live feeding demonstrations of unique aquatic animals and hands-on ocean-themed art and marine science-inspired activities, among other events. The fest will also feature meet-and-greets with community groups and superhero scientists who are working to protect our ocean’s resources. The celebration runs 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, at the Sea Center, and is free with admission. Call 962-2526 for more info.
