Lazing on the Dole

Bring back churches, charities, family, neighbors when in need—abolish the failed welfare program.

I think letting people stay on welfare, food stamps, Section 8 housing, and now 99 weeks collecting EDD [unemployment] checks is unacceptable. The private sector workers who pays for all these people on the dole have had enough, and we believe this is a Democratic ploy to create government dependency. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you cut off the free [handouts] to theses lazy people? Americans would be forced to go work doing anything available, and that would be great for their self esteem. Also, the illegal aliens would be pushed back home because Americans would be motivated to work again. Hunger does motivate.
