Whatever you do, don’t call Goleta’s new Twin Cups, a frozen yogurt and coffee bar (5329 Calle Real, 964-1800,, a drive-thru. Owner Nathan Carey will have you know it’s a “Stop and Go,” about which he says, “A ‘Stop and Go’ is a whole different experience than a typical drive-thru. Our staff knows your name, can anticipate the drink or yogurt blend you regularly get, and when you pull away from Twin Cups, you leave with a smile and, most of all, a wonderful experience.” For that’s what the two cups is all about: yogurt and coffee, sometimes not even in two cups if you opt to consume it affogato style. Carey says many customers have already taken to calling in orders to expedite the process. “Based on today’s fast-paced environment, Santa Barbara residents do not want to spend time fighting over parking or waiting in a long line just to grab a morning cup of coffee or healthy snack on the way to school, work, or to any event,” Carey explained. “The location is perfect and creates an easy environment for people on the go!”
