Art From Scrap is now holding signups for its year-long AFS School Program, which provides free supplies to Santa Barbara-area teachers and aides. PTA members and school representatives are encouraged to visit artfromscrap.org for details.

It’s official. Santa Barbara tartlet Katy Perry has the number one album in the U.S. In its first week, Perry’s sophomore effort, Teenage Dream, had sold more than 190,000 units, almost double the number of her breakthrough debut, One of the Boys.
