Train Conductor Spots Body

A woman’s body was found the morning of 9/5 alongside railroad tracks located 200 feet north of Los Patos Street. The victim, apparently killed when she was hit by an oncoming train, was around 25 years old and may have been an area resident, said police. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of her family. A train conductor who spotted the body made the initial report, and authorities said that suicide has not yet been ruled out as a possible cause of death.
