Wolf Loses Out on Coastal Commission Seat


Governor Jerry Brown selected Ventura City Councilmember Brian Brennan to fill the California Coastal Commission’s South Central Coast seat, passing over Santa Barbara County 2nd District Supervisor Janet Wolf. Both Wolf and Brennan, who each met personally with Brown last week, had wide-ranging statewide environmental coalition support. Brennan helped found the Ventura chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and works as an aide to Ventura County Supervisor Steve Bennett.
