Gas Prices Continue to Rise


The average price of gas in Santa Barbara was $4.27 per gallon as of 4/17, up 4.2 cents from the previous week. The national average price for a gallon of gas is nearly half a dollar cheaper at $3.80, up $3.7 cents. Gas prices in Santa Barbara were almost a quarter—23.8 cents—cheaper just one month ago and $1.20 cheaper a year ago.
