KIDS ROCK

On Thursday, May 5, musicians from area schools and bands will take to Velvet Jones (423 State St.) for a concert to benefit Cottage Children’s Hospital. The festivities are open to all ages from 7-10 p.m., but become a 21+ show after 10 p.m. For info, call 965-8676 or visit velvet-jones.com.

The Capitol Steps bring political comedy back to town this Thursday, April 28, at the Lobero Theatre (33 E. STORY TIME

The 12th Annual Ojai Storytelling Festival kicks off on Thursday, May 5, and runs through Sunday, May 8, with appearances from actors, writers, and storytellers.
