Body Found off East Camino Cielo Road near Painted Cave Road

Sheriff’s Department detectives are investigating a suspicious death, it was announced today. According to spokesperson Drew Sugars, a citizen called Emergency Dispatch to report that a body was found just off East Camino Cielo Road near Painted Cave Road.

“At this point, the death is considered suspicious in nature,” said Sugars in a prepared statement. “Sheriff’s detectives and the Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau have been investigating the situation since the initial call.”

Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, he went on, no further details will be released at the moment.
