Reality Church to Hold Sunday Masses at SBCC

Thanks to a recently brokered deal, Carpinteria’s Reality Church will soon be holding its popular Sunday Mass at Santa Barbara City College. After a successful Easter Sunday sermon at SBCC’s La Playa Stadium earlier this year, Reality, which is headed up by Pastor Britt Merrick, has struck a business partnership with the budget-battered community college that will pay the school roughly $13,000 a month in exchange for Sunday usage of the sports pavilion, 18 classrooms, storage space, and parking. Reality, which already has a remote campus in Ventura, hopes to hold its first Sunday event at SBCC on 9/4.
