Bob and Odette Blaisdell

Odette Blaisdel

FOLLOWING IN FAMILY FOOTSTEPS: A high school student in New York City, Odette Blaisdell spent her summer interning for The Indy’s arts department, impressing editors with her seasoned writing skills and unique enthusiasm for the S.B. arts scene. The youngest member of The Indy’s summer intern staff, she wrote CD reviews, interviewed artists like Califone and He’s My Brother, She’s My Sister, wrote calendar features, and helped with special articles like this October’s S.B. Band Guide. Odette follows in the footsteps of her father, Bob Blaisdell (pictured in background), who was an intern and then arts editor for The Indy 20 years ago.
