Norway

I have composed the following poem as a condolence to Norway and the people of Norway for the sad tragedy that shocked the country and the whole world; hoping that the country and its people will never change their way of maintaining peace and joy in this world.

A dimly lit beam hovered,
Confounded to why
It lost its glow,

Imagination gone wrong,
Looking for an answer
To the very soul of its existence,

Witnessing a scarlet flow of innocence,
Once longed for placidity
And now is no more,

What has fate planned?
Cruelty? suffering?

Oh,

Peacefulness shattered,
Tears keep flowing,
Drowning the answer,

Testing the courage to keep
Loving
