Elings Park BMX Raceway Hosts $5,000 PRO-AM on Saturday, August 27th

Free Agent and Nema Cycling, together with Need Three, are proud to present SoCal’s BMX Gold Coast Cup Pro-Am, Saturday August 27, 2011, awarding $5,000 in prize monies through 8th place!

This will be a special two-race event on the final day of the 2nd Annual BMX Gold Coast Cup series. That’s two Pro-Am races in one day along SoCal’s Gold Coast where the racing will be hot but the daytime temps should be a perfect 72 degrees! With Mike Redman in the house to announce, the good times are set to roll first at Santa Barbara’s Elings Park BMX Raceway, 10:00am-11:30am sign-ups, racing ASAP. The action then shifts a short 35 miles south along the 101 Coast Highway to Camarillo’s Freedom Park BMX Raceway, 5:00pm-7:00pm sign-ups, racing ASAP. Open to 15 and over expert amateurs and pros, the entry fee for the two-race format/day is just $20. Final rankings and the money will be awarded based on combined finishes from both races. Elings Park BMX Raceway is an American Bicycle Association sanctioned track. The track is open for instruction and practice Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00PM-7:00PM, and Sundays 12:00PM-2:00PM; and open for practice and racing Fridays 5:00PM-7:00PM, and Saturdays 10:00AM-11:30AM.
