CALM’s Adopt-a-Family Program Gives Holiday Help to Needy S.B. Families

The Child Abuse Listening and Mediation (CALM) organization is running its Adopt-a-Family initiative this month. Every year, CALM “adopts” families who have been affected by child abuse and neglect, and matches them with sponsors who purchase holiday gifts, food, decorations, and items from the family’s wish list. Community members can help the Adopt-a-Family program by signing up to adopt a family, a family member, or even to donate one specially selected gift. Call 963-6707 or visit calm4kids.org.
