Italian Cultural Heritage Foundation Announces Its 2011 Italian Film Series Lineup

This week, the Italian Cultural Heritage Foundation of S.B. debuts its annual 2011 Cinema Italiano Classico film series. This year, the series will present three award-winning classic films of actor/director Vittorio De Sica (perhaps best know in the U.S. for his 1948 film, The Bicycle Thief). The following is a roundup of the series features:

• Friday, February 25: Miracolo a Milano (Miracle in Milan)

• Friday, March 4: Il generale della Rovere (General della Rovere)

• Friday, March 11: Ieri, oggi, domani (Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow)

The films begin at 7:30 p.m. at Fé Bland Forum (SBCC West Campus, 721 Cliff Dr.). The screenings are free. Call 969-1018 or visit for more info.
