Charlie Rose Returning Sooner Than Expected

New Network Was Going to Postpone for a Year

Following the merger of KOCE and PBS (now PBS SoCal), the network lamented its inability to air Charlie Rose for another year. But saddened fans can breathe a sigh of relief: the talk show will return much sooner than originally expected. Following a deluge of feedback, PBS SoCal announced that the show will return January 17, airing weeknights at midnight.

The rest of the television lineup remained fairly unaffected; the Charlie Rose show was one of the few casualties of the merger. The network had cited previous commitments to other programs.
