Goleta resident and Santa Barbara Dance Alliance alum Sarah Breck has not only scored a spot on Paula Abdul’s recently launched Live to Dance but also made it to the program’s semi-finals. The televised dance competition airs locally on CBS 12 this Wednesday, January 26, at 8 p.m.


The Santa Barbara County Arts Commission unveils Channing Peake: Mural Studies this Monday, January 24, at the City Hall Gallery (735 Anacapa St.). The collection will coincide with the restoration of Peake’s “Fiesta Mural,” which will be installed in the S.B. Airport this spring. Mural Studies hangs through January 2012.
