UCSB Hosts CARE Expo to Promote Public Service Jobs, Internships, Opportunities

Looking for a way to make a positive impact? This Tuesday, January 25, UCSB’s Associated Students Community Affairs Board and Career Services Department will host the annual CARE Expo—a career/volunteer fair aimed at recruiting candidates for intern, professional, and volunteer positions within the public sector. Representatives from S.B.-area nonprofit organizations, as well as affiliates from local government agencies, will talk with attendees about the wide range of career options within the public sector and discuss how this work serves a vital purpose in communities. The fair runs from noon-4 p.m. in UCSB’s Corwin Pavilion. Call 893-3961 for more info.
