Poodle Radio on Still-Unbuilt Naples and Contest-Winning Barbecue Pork

June 30, 2011

First on this week’s Poodle Radio, Colin Marshall talks to Indy reporter Ethan Stewart about his ongoing coverage of whether or not developers can or will build on Naples and the Gaviota Coast. Then Aron Ives, videographer and winner of one division of the Indy’s Second Sizzzling Summer BBQ Contest drops in to discuss the making of his pork shoulder, corn waffle, horseradish coleslaw, and secret barbecue rub.

Music this week, organized by Pop Culture Editor Aly Comingore, comes from artists like Anais Mitchell, Best Coast, and Saint Motel, all of whom will play live in Santa Barbara soon. You can tune in to Poodle Radio live every Thursday morning from 8-9 a.m. on KCSB, 91.9 FM in Santa Barbara or on KCSB’s webcast at KCSB.org.
