Cachuma Lake Nature Center to Host a Free Kids’ Fishing Workshop this Weekend

Little ones will spend a day outside in nature while learning a fun new skill at Cachuma Lake Nature Center’s Kids’ Fishing Workshop this Saturday, July 23. Using provided equipment, experts from the area will teach kids ages 7-15 about everything from knot-tying and casting to distinct techniques to use while fishing for specific species of fish. Parents may observe the workshops, which run from 8:45am-noon at the Cachuma Lake and Nature Center (Hwy. 154, Santa Ynez). The workshop is free; preregistration is required.
