Peabody Principal Takes Job with Bill Gates

Thanks to Bill Gates, Peabody Charter School is looking for a new principal. After five popular years at the helm of Peabody, Kate Ford announced this week that she is leaving the K-6 school this summer to take a job with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle. In her new job as a senior program officer, Ford will be helping the Gates Foundation identify the best candidate programs from schools around the country for the organization’s extensive grant programs.
