Wee John “Jack” Poett Campbell

IT’S A BOY! The Independent family got one person larger when Editor in Chief Marianne Partridge became a first-time grandma a couple weeks ago. Wee John “Jack” Poett Campbell was born to Elizabeth and Austin, Partridge’s daughter and son-in-law, on Earth Day, April 22, at 7:15 a.m., weighing in at 8 pounds, 8 ounces. “We could not be more happy,” Elizabeth said of their healthy little boy. Parents and baby — and grandparents — are doing very well. Welcome, Jack!
