Women’s Fund Gives Over 500K to Nonprofits

The Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara doled out $565,000 in grants to six area nonprofits during its annual luncheon on 5/2. The 500-member organization gave money to the Channel Islands YMCA, WillBridge of Santa Barbara, Carpinteria Children’s Project at Main, Children’s Project Academy, Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters, and Mobile Waterford. Since its 2004 inception, the Women’s Fund has raised more than $3 million in grants.
