The Santa Barbara County Arts Commission is currently offering grants to organizations and individuals working to promote the arts in the community. This Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m., Trinity Episcopal Church hosts a concert to benefit victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, as well as needy Tibetan refugees. The night includes performances by Tibetan singer Yungchen Lhamo and tabla master Homnath Upadhya. For info, call 569-5768.
