LOUNGE ACTS
It was announced last week that the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum (CAF) has been recommended for a $20,000 National Endowment for the Arts grant to help support its monthly Forum Lounge series. Presented as part of the Downtown Organization’s 1st Thursday events, the series presents free, multidisciplinary performance art exhibits. For info, visit sbcaf.org.

FIRST WIVES CLUB
This Friday, June 3, and Saturday, June 4, the UCSB Department of Theater and Dance presents The Merry Wives of Windsor as part of its ongoing Shakespeare in the Park series. The free performances take place in Isla Vista’s Anisq’Oyo’ Park at 7 p.m. For info, visit theaterdance.ucsb.edu.
