SBCC Forms Continuing Education Task Force

Acting Santa Barbara City College President Jack Friedlander recently announced the formation of a stakeholder task force charged with ensuring the ongoing success of the school’s Continuing Education program. Titled the Achieving the Vision for Continuing Education Task Force, the group is meant to, over the course of the next eight months, develop a plan of attack that combines existing state funding sources and as-yet-to-be brainstormed fundraising mechanisms to create a Continuing Ed course catalog that is fully sustainable even in the most dire of economic times.
