Santa Barbara Channelkeeper Seeks Volunteers; K-9 PALS Hosts “Adopt-a-Senior-Dog” Month This November.


• Santa Barbara Channelkeeper is seeking volunteers to assist with year-end letter mailing. Tasks will include folding letters, stuffing envelopes, and other administrative activities; volunteers are needed through the end of November. Contact Lindsey at 563-3377 x4 for more info.

• November is Adopt-a-Senior-Dog Month at K-9 PALS and S.B. County Animal Services. Senior dogs are usually already trained and looking for loving homes at which they can spend the rest of their lives. K-9 PALS is offering a $20 discount on adoption fees for all senior dogs throughout the rest of the month. Stop by the shelter, located at 5473 Overpass Road, to meet some of these pooches, or call 570-0415 for more info.
