The Tallis Scholars Bring Holiday Masterpieces to Downtown Church This Friday

Britain's Tallis Scholars will perform <em>Holiday Masterpieces</em> at a Sola Street church this week.

The Tallis Scholars are a critically acclaimed 10-piece vocal group from the United Kingdom. This week, UCSB Arts & Lectures presents the ensemble in a concert of sacred and holiday music, Hymn to the Virgin: Holiday Masterpieces from Around the Globe, on Friday, December 2, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church (21 E. Sola St.). The show begins at 8 p.m., and tickets are $35 ($10 for UCSB students). Call 893-3535 for more info.
