Santa Barbara #1 in Gas Prices

According to Gasbuddy.com, Santa Barbara had the country’s highest gas prices last Thursday at $3.99 per gallon, compared to the national average of $3.40. Spartanburg, SC, had the lowest average at $3.02. While this may sound alarming, it is actually a decrease in the city’s average since September. Last month, gas peaked at $4.02 per gallon, with the highest prices in Montecito and Isla Vista.
